What you’re seeing

Both views are the same 32 problems on one shared list, entered by ten providers, plus 7 merged in from outside records. Standard EMR lists them alphabetically, so the hypertension primary care entered sits next to an unconfirmed duplicate from another system, and finding out who owns a problem means clicking into it one row at a time. With HeuriSTX, the list is regrouped for whoever opened it: what they entered, what their department entered, what adjacent specialties entered, and everything else set aside until they ask for it.

EHRlens Problems is pre-release, and this is a concept view. Format and capabilities may change before general availability. Synthetic patient and data.

Things to try

  • In the standard view, find Essential hypertension and HTN (hypertension). Click each to see who is responsible for them.
  • Switch to HeuriSTX as the surgeon: the cancers he is managing are on top, and the 7 orphaned outside-record entries are out of the way.
  • Use View Asto become the oncologist. The hepatitis B result she added before rituximab is hers; the surgeon’s thyroid problems become related.
  • Expand All Other Problems to see what each specialist can safely set aside.
